VICA℠ - Virtual Care by Community Care Physicians, P.C. brings certified medical providers to you, from anywhere within New York State!
Receive virtual care from a New York based medical organization you can trust – Community Care Physicians (CCP). VICA - Virtual Care connects you remotely with a licensed health provider from CCP, in real-time. You’re simply replacing the exam room with your living room. From anywhere within New York State, you can schedule a visit and our VICA team will contact you ready to address your concerns.

VICA providers can diagnose, recommend treatment and prescribe medication, if medically necessary, for people of all ages. Use VICA for issues such as:

Gastrointestinal issues
Pet and seasonal allergies
UTI
Cold and flu
Cough and sore throat
Sinus infection
Bronchitis
Nausea/vomiting
Conjunctivitis (pink eye)
Bug bites/tick bites
Lice
Rashes
Headaches/migraines
Yeast infections
Ear pain/ear infections
Minor lacerations and abrasions
Respiratory infection
Anxiety/depression
And more

IMPORTANT: PLEASE CALL 911 IF YOU NEED EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE!

Virtual care is not appropriate for emergencies including, but not limited to, chest pain, shortness of breath, possible concussion, abdominal pain, mental status changes, numbness, tingling or weakness.
Our providers only treat conditions that can safely be handled remotely. If necessary, the VICA provider will recommend for you to be seen by a nearby provider for an in-person, in-office exam.

There is a $45 fee per visit with the provider.
Hours of Service: Typical hours of service are Monday through Friday 9:00AM to 10:00PM. Extended hours may be available. Please refer to the VICA app for up-to-date hours.  

How VICA Works:

Register within the app and request a callback from the VICA concierge (Our concierge will contact you using the phone number you provide to collect your medical history, collect payment, and schedule your virtual appointment, at your convenience).
At your scheduled appointment time, start your session with the provider and receive care in real-time.
VICA is Secure and HIPAA Compliant
Your personal and payment information is secure with VICA and Community Care Physicians. Information on the app complies with all HIPAA regulations and requirements.

Documentation of Your Visit:
Your virtual visit is documented in Community Care Physicians’ electronic health record. If you currently use a provider within Community Care Physicians, your virtual visit note will be accessible by your regular doctors. If you are not a patient of Community Care Physicians, the note documenting your visit will be faxed to your primary care physician.

Please note: VICA – Virtual Care is meant to supplement, not replace, your regular office visits with your doctor.
